Music Mondays are making their triumphant return! On Mondays, I will try to post a song. It may be an original hymn, or a pop song, or any piece of music that catches my fancy for the week. There may be an explanation — or not. I find that I often connect with the Netjeru through music, and I want to share that connection with others.
Today’s piece of music is one I have connected with my Father for years. I hear His voice in every note of the song, from the vocals to the fuzzy bass notes at the beginning. It resonates in both word and tone with His personality and nature.
With the song, He sings: What do you need to walk away from? Where do you need to go? The world is confusing, sometimes frightening; and yet I am with you always, even on your darkest road.
