As part of my job, I sometimes wind up in Catholic Mass. Most recently, the school celebrated with a song that felt very profound, and yet was light-hearted and fun. At it’s core, the hymn says:
God is a part of my life,
I am a part of God’s life.
God is important to me,
I am important to God.
That’s a hell of a powerful affirmation. Replace “God” with whatever Divine power you wish, and apply liberally to your day.
